For the record, I even went to Starbucks today!
I had vouchers for free drinks and a free petite treat. So I got a venti, iced, SKINNY caramel macchiato. Usually I get my drinks with soy, but at Sbux they use vanilla soy which has a ton of sugar and calories, I was okay with them using skim today, it gained me 13 grams of protein! For my treat I let them pick for me because I didn’t know what I wanted/they didn’t have a lot to choose from. They picked out the mini carrot cake cupcake, and would you believe [come to find out later] that that tiny little thing, the size of a quarter around and two inches tall, had 190 calories in it?!!? That was more than my VENTI drink, which only had 160!! Of course I didn’t HAVE TO go to Starbucks, but let’s be honest, I have a really hard time passing up free stuff, and the vouchers were from my birthday and going to expire soon! It was worth it though, OH and I didn’t eat all of the frosting on the cupcake, in fact I ate very little of it. It was WAY too sweet!
